The African-American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) has announced the winners of its 2026 TV Honors, celebrating outstanding achievements in television. The ceremony, set to take place on August 8 at City Club LA in downtown Los Angeles, will honor the year’s top TV programs.

This year’s Best Drama Series award goes to Hulu’s post-apocalyptic thriller Paradise, starring Sterling K. Brown and Shailene Woodley. This marks the second consecutive year that Paradise has taken home the top drama prize, with Brown also defending his title as Best Actor for his role in the series.

Jurnee Smollett took home the award for Best Actress for her performance in Apple TV’s Smoke. The ABC series Abbott Elementary was recognized as the Best Ensemble, while FX/Hulu’s Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette was named Best Limited Series.

The AAFCA TV Honors also introduced two new categories this year. OWN’s Love & Marriage: Huntsville took home the award for Best Reality Series, while All the Smoke with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson was named Best Podcast.
