MPA Hires Kelsey Moore as VP of State Government Affairs in Southeast Region
Kelsey Moore has joined the Motion Picture Association (MPA) as the new Vice President of State Government Affairs for the Southeast Region. In her new role, Moore will serve as the primary point of contact for state legislatures, regulatory agencies, and executive branch figures in the region. This appointment comes as the MPA continues to advocate for policies that support the growth and development of the film and television industry.
Moore brings a wealth of experience to her new position, having previously served as the Executive Director of the Georgia Screen Entertainment Coalition (GSEC). During her tenure at GSEC, Moore played a key role in advocating for the state’s tax incentive program, which has contributed significantly to Georgia’s emergence as a major production hub. Her efforts helped to establish Georgia as a popular destination for film and television production, with numerous productions choosing to shoot on location in the state.
Moore’s experience extends beyond her work at GSEC, having previously held leadership roles at the Georgia Travel Association and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. Her extensive background in government affairs and her knowledge of the film and television industry make her an ideal candidate for this position.
