Bitcoin and Ethereum Prices Experience a Strong Opening
On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, the price of Bitcoin (BTC-USD) opened at $63,997.17, up 0.7% from yesterday’s opening price. The price of Bitcoin shifted to $63,118.73 by 7:39 a.m. ET. Ethereum (ETH-USD) also had a strong opening, with its price increasing by 0.8% from yesterday’s open, reaching $1,797.77. The price of Ethereum adjusted to $1,775.76 by 7:39 a.m. ET.

Both Bitcoin and Ethereum have experienced strong openings for the second day in a row, with Bitcoin and Ethereum posting their strongest monthly gains since May. So far, ‘green’ July is off to a solid start. Despite the challenges faced by the cryptocurrency market in 2026, analysts believe that the bear market was not as severe as it could have been, thanks in part to dedicated buyers who have helped prop up prices and prevented the crypto winter from being as cold as previous ones.
