Family Guy’s Halloween and Holiday Specials Return to Hulu for a Third Consecutive Year

In a thrilling announcement made at the recent Comic-Con panel, series executive producer and showrunner Rich Appel revealed that Family Guy’s Halloween and holiday specials will be returning exclusively to Hulu for a third straight year in 2026. This news comes as a delight to fans of the beloved animated series, which has been a staple of American television for over two decades.

During the panel, Appel was joined by Family Guy stars Alex Borstein, Arif Zahir, Jennifer Tilly, and co-executive producer and supervising director Peter Shin. The cast and crew were on hand to share a first look at the upcoming Halloween special, titled ‘Happy Hell-o-ween,’ which promises to be a hilarious and action-packed installment.

In the special, Brian and Stewie find themselves in hell – not an annoying day, but the actual underworld – paying for 24 seasons’ worth of bad behavior. When they manage to annoy even the devil (Culkin) himself, they end up in charge. The special is sure to delight fans of the show with its signature blend of humor and pop culture references.

But that’s not all – the holiday special, titled ‘The Peter Clause,’ is also on the horizon. In this installment, Peter and the guys compete to become the town’s official Santa. Peter loses, and he can either process his disappointment in a mature manner or give fans a memorable episode of Family Guy. Thankfully, he chooses option No. 2.

The specials will also stream exclusively internationally on Disney+ in most markets. This marks the first time that the holiday specials will be available to international audiences, and fans around the world can look forward to experiencing the magic of Family Guy in all its glory.

Season 25 of Family Guy returns to Fox in midseason 2027 and will stream on Hulu and Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S. Fans can look forward to more exciting episodes of the show in the coming year, including the highly anticipated Halloween and holiday specials.

In related news, Bob’s Burgers will also be releasing a holiday short exclusively on Hulu. This marks the first time that the popular animated series will be releasing a holiday special, and fans of the show are sure to be delighted by the news.

As a result of this new partnership, fans of the three shows – Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, and The Simpsons – will be able to enjoy their favorite holiday specials on the same platform. This is sure to bring joy and laughter to audiences around the world, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for these beloved animated series.
