2026 Fantasy Baseball Midseason Prospect Rankings
As we approach the second half of the 2026 season, it’s an ideal time to take a step back and assess the top prospects in fantasy baseball. In this midseason update, we’ll take a closer look at the top 50 prospects, led by Jesus Made, Franklin Arias, and other talented young players.
The midseason rankings have a few key differences from the preseason list. To qualify for this list, prospects must have appeared in a major league game or accumulated 130 at-bats, 50 innings pitched, or 45 days on the active roster. This means that some promising young players who have yet to reach these thresholds will be left off the list.
However, we’ve found a way to represent these players without officially ranking them. You’ll see a graphic insert with the name of the player and their ranking if they qualified. This will give you an idea of how they stack up against the top prospects.
Now, let’s dive into the top 12 prospects and a few others who deserve some extra attention.
Top 12 Prospects
1. Jesus Made, SS, Brewers

Jesus Made is off to a strong start in Double-A, showing promise as a 19-year-old shortstop. While a higher home run output would bolster his case, he’s still a top prospect with a Jose Ramirez-like profile.
2. Leo De Vries, SS, Athletics

Leo De Vries is another young shortstop who’s impressing in Double-A. He’s upped his stolen base game this year and remains well ahead of schedule as a 19-year-old.
3. Franklin Arias, SS, Red Sox
