The Mellitah Oil & Gas complex, located approximately 90 kilometers west of Tripoli, was breached by a group of protesters during an ongoing anti-government demonstration. The Mellitah complex supplies Italy with 30 million Standard Cubic Meters of gas daily, underscoring its vital role in the region’s energy landscape.
