Disney’s Live-Action Tangled Update

The highly anticipated live-action adaptation of Disney’s beloved animated film Tangled has kicked off production, and fans are getting their first glimpse of the movie’s star-studded cast. Croft, known for her role as Raven in DC’s Titans, has been spotted on set wearing Rapunzel’s iconic purple dress and sporting a very long blonde wig. Her co-star, Milo Manheim, who gained fame for his role as Zed in the Disney Channel’s Zombies, has been seen dressed in Flynn Rider’s signature blue waistcoat.

The pair’s casting has been met with enthusiasm from fans, who are eager to see how the live-action adaptation will bring the beloved characters to life. In a bid to outdo some of Disney’s other recent live-action remakes, which have been met with mixed reviews, hopes are high that Tangled will fare better.

The Cast of Tangled

Hahn, known for her roles in Agatha: All Along and Big Little Lies, has been spotted on set, alongside Andor star Diego Luna, who will play a new character created specifically for this live-action adaptation.

Diego Luna’s character is shrouded in mystery, with details of his role being kept under wraps. However, visually, he bears a striking resemblance to Flynn Rider’s father, sparking speculation among fans about the direction of the story.

The Stabbington brothers, who will be played by identical twins Patrick and Hugo McPherson, have also been spotted on set. The 6ft 7in tall twins are set to bring the duo to life, and their presence has been met with excitement from fans.

Other glimpses of the movie’s set have revealed the construction of Rapunzel’s tower in the countryside near Bilbao in northern Spain, as well as location shooting at Girona Cathedral in Barcelona, which will be doubling as Corona Castle.
