Xbox Console Updates Bring New Capture and Achievement Features
Xbox has announced a new set of features for its console, which will start rolling out to users in the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring today.
The latest update includes several exciting features that are designed to enhance the gaming experience. One of the most notable additions is the ability to include party chat audio within gameplay captures. This feature will allow users to record their gaming moments, including the reactions of their friends and party members, making it easier to share and relive those special moments.
To ensure user privacy, individual party members will have the option to choose whether their audio can be captured. This means that only players who opt in will have their audio recorded, and it will not be captured automatically.
Expanded Achievement Tracking Options
Achievement hunters will be thrilled to see the expanded set of options for tracking their progress. The new update includes a sortable cheevo list that allows users to track their achievements by Last Played, Completion Percentage, Gamerscore Earned, Number of Achievements Unlocked, and more. This feature will make it easier for users to keep track of their progress and identify areas where they need to improve.
Users can also sort these categories in ascending or descending order, allowing them to highlight where they are close to the full 1000G or ready to start unlocking a new game’s achievements from the start.
Cloud Save Updates
Xbox is also expanding the cloud save feature, allowing users to view and restore previous cloud save versions in supported games. This feature will start with Forza Horizon 6 and will allow users to recover an older progress point if necessary. If a user experiences a corrupted save or wants to go back and replay part of a game differently, this option will help them out.

Expanded Game Wishlist
Xbox is also expanding the game wishlist feature, allowing users to add up to 1,000 titles. This should provide users with a comprehensive list of games they want to play and make it easier for them to discover new titles.
The latest update comes just days after Microsoft’s latest set of Xbox console price rises have kicked in, raising the cost of some Xbox Series X and S models by up to $150 in the U.S. and up to an additional ВЈ220 in the U.K.
