Noomi Rapace & More Join Amazon MGM Studio’s Action-Packed Thriller ‘The Kellys’

Amazon MGM Studios has announced that a talented ensemble cast, including Noomi Rapace, Ron Funches, Michael Biehn, Roland MØller, Laz Alonso, Basil Eidenbenz, and Dan Fogler, will join the upcoming action-packed thriller ‘The Kellys’, opposite previously announced Arnold Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth.

The film, directed by Brad Peyton and written by Tze Chun, follows the story of Jack Kelly, a disgraced NYPD cop whose wife Molly is taken hostage by terrorists inside an old armory building. He must join forces with his family, who he fears most, to save her.

Noomi Rapace, a Swedish actress known for her iconic roles in ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ and ‘Prometheus’, will bring her unique talent to the film. Rapace has received numerous awards and nominations for her performances, including a Guldbagge Award and BAFTA and European Film Award nominations.

Ron Funches, a stand-up comedian and actor, has appeared in various TV shows, including ‘The Goldbergs’ and ‘Blackish’, as well as films like ‘Get Hard’ and ’80 for Brady’. Funches is represented by CAA, Truhett Management, and Cohen/Gardner LLP.

Michael Biehn, a genre icon known for his collaborations with James Cameron, has appeared in films like ‘The Terminator’, ‘Aliens’, and ‘The Abyss’. Biehn will next be seen in ‘Onslaught’ for A24, and has additional film credits including ‘Tombstone’, ‘The Rock’, and ‘K2’. He is represented by Realm Talent and Berwick & Kovacik.

Roland MØller, known for his starring role in ‘Land of Mine’, has appeared in films like ‘Riders of Justice’, ‘Skyscraper’, and ‘Blood Red Sky’ for Netflix. MØller is represented by CAA.

Laz Alonso, a talented actor known for his roles in ‘The Boys’ and ‘Avatar’, has appeared in films like ‘James Cameron’s Avatar’ and ‘Kathryn Bigelow’s Detroit’. Alonso is represented by IAG, Authentic Management, Bespoke Publicity, and Rick Genow.

Basil Eidenbenz, a talented actor known for his roles in ‘The Witcher’ and ‘Victoria’, has appeared in films like ‘Ingeborg Bachmann – Journey Into the Desert’ and ‘The Favourite’. Eidenbenz is represented by Identity Agency Group (IAG) and Budde Talent Agency in Germany.

Dan Fogler, a Tony award-winning actor, has appeared in films like ‘Fantastic Beasts’ and ‘The Walking Dead’. Fogler is represented by Verve Talent and Literary, Entertainment 360, and Common Ground Entertainment.

‘The Kellys’ is set to be released on Prime Video in over 240 countries, and will be distributed globally by Amazon MGM.
